WIE
Women in Engineering
The WIE Affinity Group in our college commenced its working in the year 2011. Our primary aim is to bring about more girls and women into the applied science field. We provide an environment where women feel confident within the technical society. Students come together, once every week, to contribute and collaborate. Talks, seminars, workshops and competitions are conducted regularly to mend the gap of unknown knowledge. The future hold more such events to help people learn, communicate and grow.

Robotics and Automation Society
IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter became a part of IEEE SCT SB on 2015, with Mrs Sandhya L as founding advisor. The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's objectives are scientific, literary and educational in character. The Society strives for the advancement of the theory and practice of robotics and automation engineering and science and of the allied arts and sciences, and for the maintenance of high professional standards among its members, all in consonance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the IEEE and with special attention to such aims within the Field of Interest of the Society.

Computer Society
IEEE Computer Society SCT SB was inaugurated in the year 2017 and was chaired by Ms.Arundhati Kurup under the guidance of Mrs.Soniya B. Since its formation Computer Society has launched various events to enhance technological interests in students and most notable ones among them include Codelab, an initiative to develop coding interests in students and Friday Talk, series of talk sessions about relevant technologies.

SIGHT
Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology
IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) group was officially launched in IEEE SCT SB in the year 2015. Ajumal S was the founding chairman and Prof. George M Joseph was in charge of the group. SIGHT partners with underserved communities and local organizations to leverage technology for sustainable development. IEEE SIGHT SCT SB in collaboration with M Shivakumar Memorial Trust conducted various School outreach programmes, workshops and medical camps over the past years.

Industry Applications Society
IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) was launched as a new Student Branch Chapter of IEEE SCT SB on 1st March, 2019. Prof.Vassilios G Agelidis from University of Denmark made the inaugural ceremony auspicious with his Distinguished Lecture Program(DLP). Abish Vijayan was the founding chairman and Dr Bobby Philip became the faculty advisor in charge. IEEE IAS aims at becoming a world leader in the advancement of science and technology linking theory and practice in the application of electrical and electronic systems for the benefit of humanity. IEEE Industry Applications Society enables the advancement of theory and practice in the design, development, manufacturing and application of safe, sustainable, reliable, smart electrical systems, equipment and services.

PES
Power and Energy Society
Established on April 27, 2019 under the founding chairman G Harikrishnan and the advisor in charge Prof. Deepa A K, our Student Branch Chapter has rapidly evolved into a vibrant community of passionate individuals dedicated to advancing the field of power and energy. The inauguration ceremony for the society coincided with a workshop on E-Mobility, held as part of the 'Key Elements of Smart Cities' Workshop series organized by the IEEE Kerala Section. The workshop series featured lectures from esteemed experts from IEEE PES, NATPAC, EMC, NIIST, C-DAC and UBER. In 2022, we was honoured to receive the prestigious Gold Plaque Outstanding Student Branch Chapter Award from IEEE PES Kerala Chapter Awards as a result of the hard work and dedication of our members.
